A 40-year-old Louisville woman who’s been in the hospital since October after testing positive for COVID-19 finally headed home Friday.Brianna Heitzman works with the organization Down Syndrome of Louisville and her co-workers and clients were on hand to cheer when she left Baptist Health Louisville.After contracting the virus, she was placed on a ventilator for over a month.Because of low circulation, doctors had to
