Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced 159 new coronavirus cases during his Thursday news briefing on the coronavirus.
One of those patients, he said, is just 10 days old.
“Let’s continue to send thoughts and prayers out. The family just had a miracle occur and now are probably living through a nightmare. Everything we can do, let’s make sure that we do,” Beshear said.

Confirmed cases in Kentucky are now at 2,429 and deaths have reached 129.
Beshear expects that number to get much bigger. “Tomorrow is going to be some of the highest numbers we’ve seen,” he said.
As of Wednesday evening, the United states has recorded more than 667,000 coronavirus cases, and nearly 33,000 deaths, according to a tally by Johns Hopkins University.
