Upstairs in the music room on the 1928 Hamburg Steinway “O” Keith Davis flies solo as he goes inside the jazz standards we all love so much on Thursday, December 6 at 7:30. Keith, who can be seen every Wednesday at the Poinsett Hotel, brings his intelli-gent and unique musical paintings of the American Songbook to upstate audiences in the intimate setting of the Carolina Music Museum. He toured with Artie Shaw and the Glenn Miller Orchestras’, has performed with Wycliffe Gordon, “Fathead” New-man, Pat LaBarbera, to list only a few, and spent a summer at the Banff Summer Workshop where he worked closely with Dave Liebman, Kenny Wheeler, John Aber-crombie, and Dave Holland. $15 for adults, $5 for students 6-18. Beer and wine will be available.
