K-12 students can attend the Greenville Drive AM&E Night For Free

What is “AM&E Night,” you ask?  It’s Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Night at Flour Field on Tuesday, August 3.  Simply put, it’s an opportunity for companies like BMW, Michelin, Milliken, Duke Energy, Bosch Rexroth, Hoowaki, Koops, General Electric and Hubbell Lighting to get students interested in manufacturing and engineering careers.  The best part is, K-12 students can attend the Greenville Drive game that night for free!  AND—students who visit all of the exhibits on the concourse will have a chance to win great prizes, including a GoPro!  Can you say win-win?

AM&E Night at Flour Field is one of our most anticipated nights of the year,” said Eric Williams, executive director for Career and Education Technology for Greenville County Schools. “Not only are students treated to a great night of baseball, they’re introduced to a world of high-skilled, high-paying, and in-demand jobs in the Upstate that literally can change the course of their lives.”

Here’s how it works: GCS students should head to the Greenville Drive’s website to receive their complimentary ticket. Upon arrival at the game, they’ll receive a “passport” to visit exhibits from the region’s top AM&E companies, as well as Greenville Technical College and The Children’s Museum of the Upstate. Students who visit all the exhibits will be entered to win an iDevices Home Package, drones, V/R headsets and a BMW Performance School Driving Experience. Plus, those who register for the event by July 31 will be entered to win a GoPro camera!
