Scott Baisley, husband of Dorchester School District 2 asst. principal Clair Baisley, opens up about the tragic loss of his wife to COVID-19 days after she gave birth to their first child. Clair Baisley passed away August 21 after a month-long battle with COVID-19. She had recently accepted an assistant principle position at Spann Elementary School. Clair prematurely gave birth to her and Scott’s first child, Sullivan, on August 8. The emergency C-section delivery was done to help ensure Sullivan would survive, even though Clair ultimately lost her battle with the coronavirus.
