Hurricane Elsa Intensifies, Will make a Cuba Landfall Tomorrow and Threaten Florida as a Storm

A convective structure is dominant this morning as Elsa continues to intensify, and with the rebuilding of an eastern eyewall, the intensity is likely to be in the region of 60-70kts. Elsa will continue its NW trajectory throughout today and will then go on and threaten Cuba with a landfall, and the NHC is also favouring the chances of a landfall on Florida, as a mid-range tropical storm. Interests in South East United States need to keep a close eye on this storm.
