Delta has become the third major hurricane of the 2020 Atlantic season.

The National Hurricane Center, according to its latest advisory, says Delta is a 130-mph Category 4 hurricane moving west-northwest at 16 mph. It is located about 315 miles east-southeast of Cozumel, Mexico.

The NHC says Delta is expected to be an “extremely dangerous” hurricane when it reaches the northeastern coast of the Yucatan peninsula.
