A house under renovation was severely damaged following a fire Tuesday afternoon, according to fire officials.The fire broke out at a home on Ponders Ray Lane in Greenville County just before 6 p.m.Ponders Ray Lane is located off of Roper Mountain Road.Flames and heavy smoke could be seen from I-85.Wade Hampton Fire Department had several crews battle the fire.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
