What We’re Excited About in 2021 / What’s Coming in 2021?
Now that 2020 is officially over, we can *hopefully* breathe a sigh of relief into the new year in hopes that this one is much better. Unfortunately, 2020 was especially hard on small businesses and we are so sad to have lost a few of our favorites due to the pandemic. Fortunately, with things looking up for 2021, several new businesses are making their way into our area and we can’t wait to welcome them!
Coming to Downtown Greenville
Camperdown is a new mixed-development project set to fully open later this year in the heart of downtown, you may have seen the large cranes sitting over Falls Park for the past few months. Part of the space is already in use with the opening of DECA Camperdown and the recent opening of Insomnia Cookies, a nationwide chain that specializes in warm cookies, they even deliver! This year you can expect to see AC Hotels (February 2021), Spaceworks – a coworking space opening in April 2021, and the expansion of Elliot Davis.

On the other side of Falls Park has been ongoing construction for the 187-room Grand Bohemian Hotel. The seven-story hotel will be the newest addition to the Grand Bohemian line that features eclectic and individually styles luxury hotels across the U.S.
Canvas Building Features Incredible Mural
On Buncombe St. you may have been greeted by the eight-story tall mural welcoming you into the city. The mural has been painted on the side of the newly revamped Canvas Building which features recently opened loft-style apartments and will feature retail spaces within walking distance and everything on Main Street, Greenville.
