As part of the White House push to immunize 70% of Americans against Covid-19, Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Greenville Monday. As only 38.9% of South Carolina residents have completed their Covid-19 vaccinations, it is hoped that the Vice President’s visit will lead more people to get the free vaccine.
The White House comment on Monday’s visit to Greenville, South Carolina: “The Vice President will launch a nation-wide tour to reach millions of Americans who still need protection against the virus, highlight the ease of getting vaccinated, encourage vaccinations, and mobilize grassroots vaccine education and outreach efforts.”
