After a long road trip, the Drive return home tomorrow evening for a very exciting 7-game homestand – with a three-game series versus the Asheville Tourists (affiliate of the Colorado Rockies) and a four-game series against the Columbia Fireflies (affiliate of the New York Mets). View Roster, Upcoming Schedule and Get Tickets here.
The Drive are poised to make a run at the Southern Division’s second half championship, and this homestand will be particularly critical. The Drive currently trail the first place Fireflies by just three games!
The homestand kicks off on Monday, July 15th with first pitch versus the Tourists at 7:05 PM. However, fans will want to get to the ballpark early, as the first 1,000 fans through the Main Street Gates will receive a commemorative Greenville Drive / Captain America bobblehead! Super Hero Night at Fluor Field wouldn’t be complete without the Drive wearing special Captain America jerseys as well. Fans will have a chance to bid on these jerseys throughout the night during a silent auction, with proceeds benefitting Drive Children’s Charities!
Milliken Night & Post-Game Fireworks
Thanks to our friends at Milliken, the game on Tuesday, July 16th is a special Family Night at the ballpark. Beginning at 6 PM, fans of all ages will be able to participate in activities like inflatable games, balloon artists, and face painters all along the concourse. There will even be a special post-game fireworks display!
Have Lunch at The Drive
What better reason do you need to take an early lunch break than Drive baseball?! Well that’s exactly what you’ll get on Wednesday, July 17th with first pitch at 11:05 AM. Take advantage of a great Businessperson’s Special game and offer in the Champions Club that includes a ticket to the game, an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, and a special tasting of the Drive’s very own “Legends Never Die” Lager, in collaboration with 13 Stripes Brewery!
Dollat Drink Night
Dollar Drink Night is Thursday, July 18th as the Drive begin a four-game series with the Fireflies. Fans of all ages can purchase Pepsi fountain drinks at any of the concession stands for a dollar, while fans at least 21-years-old can head over to the 500 Club for $1 cans of Keystone Light and $2 Beer of the Month specials, which is Sam Adams Sam ’76!
Get your weekend off to a bang on Friday, July 19th with our post-game Hubbell Lighting “Light It Up” fireworks. While you’re at it, you might as well spend Saturday, July 20th at the ballpark as well. There’s no better way for quality friends and family time – both Friday’s game and Saturday’s game start at 7:05 PM.
First Responders Night
The homestand concludes on Sunday, July 21st with our annual First Responders celebration! Field Street will be transformed into “Heroes Alley” with vehicles and equipment demonstrations from the Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, Greenville County Sheriffs Department, SWAT, and EMS! The Blood Connection will also host a special blood drive from 1 PM to 6 PM.
