Baseball and the Fourth of July have gone hand-in-hand for a long time, and you can celebrate early with the Greenville Drive during the upcoming four-game homestand at Fluor Field from Saturday, June 30th through Tuesday, July 3rd. The celebration includes honoring members of our military, special deals for fans to enjoy food, drink and hospitality, and of course, a spectacular fireworks display. Be sure to join us on this weekend of celebration with fun for fans of all ages!

The Drive and RiverDogs will resume the Battle of the Palmetto State presented by Spinx on Saturday, June 30th. First pitch is at 7:05 PM, and it’s Social Media Night, meaning this is your night to help us with the evening’s entertainment at Fluor Field! We’ll be taking song requests on social media throughout the game, and you’ll have the chance to participate in in-game social polls for music to be played during specific between-innings games! We’ll be showcasing fan photos during the game as well, so get your phones out and share with us how you enjoy your night at Fluor Field.

On Sunday, July 1st, the Drive will celebrate Military Appreciation Day at 4:05 PM. Throughout the day, the Drive are teaming up with Upstate Warrior Solution, a nonprofit that assists warriors with future opportunities and encourages the community to embrace them as neighbors and friends. Before the game, be sure to visit the special military vehicle display on Field Street, and then plan to be in your seats early to watch a fly-in by the U.S. Army Special Forces Parachute team, as well as a flyover with Vintage Warbird Aircrafts. All game long, the Drive will also recognize the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving with ceremonies, videos and special recognition. Stick around after the conclusion of the game for BlueCross BlueShield Kids Run the Bases.

As the celebration continues for Fourth of July weekend, the Drive will host a special picnic buffet on Monday, July 2nd. First pitch is at 7:05 PM, and fans can purchase a $15 ticket that comes with access to an all-you-can-eat buffet from 6:00-7:30 PM! The buffet includes all your ballpark favorites, including hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixins, pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw and more.

As another special offer for the holiday weekend, for the games on Sunday, July 1st and Monday, July 2nd, the Drive are offering a special Rooftop Experience package that includes a ticket to the Rooftop, as well as access to food and non-alcoholic beverages, for just $40! Make sure to check out Fluor Field’s most spectacular hospitality setting, with the best views of Drive baseball and Downtown Greenville.

The homestand concludes on Tuesday, July 3rd with a day-early Fourth of July Celebration. The fun begins shortly after the gates open at 6:00 PM with the Carolina Pride Hot Dog Eating Contest, featuring winners of the Drive’s eating preliminaries. Following the 7:05 PM game, be sure to stick around for a special fireworks display, featuring music that celebrates the U.S.A. Don’t miss this special night of Drive baseball and celebrating our nation’s independence!
