Drive vs. Tim Tebow and Fireflies
The first half of the 2017 season is winding down, and the Greenville Drive remain in first place in the South Atlantic League’s Southern Division! The Drive return home on Tuesday, June 13th for their final three games at Fluor Field in the first half, and the series against the Columbia Fireflies, a New York Mets affiliate, is big for several reasons.
The Fireflies have taken over second place in the Southern Division, meaning these three games have direct playoff implications for both teams. In addition, with former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow headlining the Fireflies roster, the excitement at Fluor Field promises to be electric.
Great lawn and deck seats remain available for all three games. Come out to Fluor Field this week, see Tebow in person, and watch the Drive and Fireflies battle for the Southern Division first half title!
