The Greenville Drive’s 7th homestand of the 2021 season begins on Tuesday as the Drive welcome the Greensboro Grasshoppers (high A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates) to Fluor Field for six games from July 20th to the 25th. As always the latest Drive homestand will be jam packed with community events & action packed fun for the whole family including a celebration with our friends from Spartanburg, our annual showcase event with SYNNEX Share the Magic, Dollar Drinks, Fireworks, and a special visit from everyone’s favorite entertainers the ZOOperstars!

The homestand kicks off on Tuesday July 20th (first pitch at 7pm) with the Drive’s annual celebration of the Spartanburg Community. Hosted in collaboration with One Spartanburg, this year’s Spartanburg Night at Fluor Field will be unique & impactful as always, with a special emphasis this year on attracting talent to Spartanburg. The companies, leaders, and organizations driving success across Spartanburg will be highlighted all game long in addition to other great entertainment including Street Performers from the Chapman Cultural Center at Main Street Gate, Blue Duck Scooter rides on the concourse, a Spartanburg YP event in the 500 Club, and much more!ADVERTISING

Wednesday July 21st the Drive will host its annual SYNNEX Share the Magic event at the ballpark – one of the most emotional & inspiring events of every Drive season with first pitch set for 7pm. Share the Magic is an annual fundraising initiative created by SYNNEX Corporation that provides much-needed funding for Upstate children facing incredible challenges such as life-threatening illnesses, abuse, neglect, or developmental delays. Join us at the game as proceeds from the Drive’s Share the Magic event, as is the case every season, will be directed back to the Share the Magic charities to help children all across our community.

Dollar Drink Night & the Drive’s first-ever SC Aerospace Night event highlight the start of the weekend at Fluor Field on July 22nd and 23rd (first pitch at 7pm both nights). On Thursday, your favorite drink specials begin when gates open at 6:00pm! Enjoy $1 Coors Light and $2 Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy, our July Beer of the Month! Stop by the 500 Club, Que’s, or 7th Inning Stretch to purchase. You can also order drink specials over the Seatz app. Fans over 21 are welcome to mingle at the 500 Club to network and enjoy Drive baseball! $1 Pepsi products will also be sold at all concession stands at Fluor Field.

On Friday, in partnership with the South Carolina Council on Competitiveness and the SC Aerospace team, the Drive will host the first-ever Aerospace Night event at Fluor Field. This is highly unique & exciting event will highlight the companies, leaders, and organizations driving the success of the Aerospace Industry in our community and across the State. Make sure to get to the game early for the pre-game flyover and also check out Lockheed Martin’s exciting & engaging exhibit on the concourse. Plus stick around post-game for the Upstate’s best Fireworks show, thanks to our friends at Hubbell Lighting – this week set to songs from Blink-182!

Saturday, July 24th will be fun & electric for the whole family as the ZOOperstars return to Fluor Field! First pitch is set for 7:05 with the ZOOperstars set to entertain and thrill Drive fans all night long. Come check out and meet Harry Canary, Tommy Laswordfish, Clammy Sosa, Shank McGwire and more! This will be the last time this fan favorite national act will be at Fluor Field this season so make sure to get out to Fluor Field on Saturday night!

To close out this homestand, the Drive will be joining in the MiLB’s Major Fun Weekend celebration to kick off the second half of the Drive’s 15th anniversary season! The Clemson Tiger, Cheerleaders and Rally Cats will join Reedy in the celebration, bringing information about their upcoming football season plus you can enter to win an autographed football and other great prizes!

It’s hard to believe there’s only 24 home games remaining in the Drive’s 2021 season, so make plans to join us this week at the ballpark as we’d love to see you!
