Following the first road trip of the season, the Greenville Drive will return to Fluor Field to begin a four-game homestand from Thursday, April 21st through Sunday, April 24th against the Columbia Fireflies, affiliate of the New York Mets. The Drive have kicked off the road trip in a big way, winning three of four games over the Fireflies in Columbia over the weekend, and this talented group of players looks to continue the positive momentum as the homestand begins.
Dollar Drink Night presented by The Iron Yard kicks off the homestand on Thursday, April 21st.Fans of all ages can purchase $1 Pepsi products at all Fluor Field concession stands, and fans over 21 can head to The Iron Yard 500 Club for $1 PBRs, live entertainment and music from Happy Ending in the coolest hangout spot in Downtown Greenville.
In addition, the BMW Charity Pro-Am Tournament presented by SYNNEX Corporation will be on hand on Thursday to announce this yearâs celebrity field of golfers. The tournament runs from May 19th-22ndat Thornblade Club, The Reserve at Lake Keowee and The Preserve at Verdae.
Fluor Fieldâs famous Friday Night Fireworks return on Friday, April 22nd. The musical theme for the night is One-Hit Wonder Night, and fans will hear all their favorite one-hit wonders before and during the game as well as during the best fireworks show in the Upstate!
Tweet your friends and let them know to come out to Fluor Field for Social Media Night on Saturday, April 23rd. All night long, the Drive will be having fun with social media, and we encourage you to do the same! Fans will get a chance to vote on social media for songs to be played during the game, including a song for a Reedy RipâIt in-game dance and at-bat music for the opposing team, and your in-game photos from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram might be shown on DriveVision throughout the night!
The homestand concludes on Sunday, April 24th with Little League Day at Fluor Field. The Drive will play host to Little League teams, players and coaches from all across the Upstate for a fun day, which begins with a parade at 3:30 PM prior to first pitch at 4:05 PM. During the afternoon, Little League members will participate in between-innings games on the field, and following the game, Little Leaguers and kids of all ages will be invited on the field to participate in BlueCross BlueShield Kids Run the Bases.
