The Greenville Drive return to Fluor Field on Thursday to begin a four-game homestand against the Augusta GreenJackets, an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The four-game stretch includes fan favorites like Dollar Drink Night and Friday Night Fireworks, a unique day game integration with the BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament, plus special youth celebration events with the Mauldin Miracle League and the Girl Scouts. Join us at Fluor Field this week for Drive baseball and to help us celebrate these special events and groups.

The homestand begins with a special doubleheader of action on Thursday, May 17th. The Drive and GreenJackets will get underway at 3:30 PM, and the game will be followed by the BMW Charity Pro-Am Celebrity Softball Game at 7:30. You won’t want to miss the fun of your favorite celebrities from the diamond, gridiron, big screen and more taking their swings at the Green Monster at Fluor Field! Among the celebrities scheduled to appear are baseball legends Josh Beckett, Jim Rice, Ozzie Smith and Tim Wakefield, NFL stars Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Peterson, actors John O’Hurley and Rob Riggle, comedians Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall, and many more. Dollar Drink Night specials will take place all day long, so be sure to grab your $1 Pepsi products at the Fluor Field concession stands, as well as $1 Keystone Light and $2 Miller High Life in the 500 Club.
On Friday, May 18th, fans are encouraged to stick around following the 7:05 PM game for the Hubbell Lighting “Light it Up” Friday Night Fireworks! The musical theme for the fireworks show is Jason Aldean. The Drive will also welcome the Greenville Scottish Games to Fluor Field, which will feature a pregame performance by the City of Greenville Pipes and Drums, as well as in-game demonstrations from the heavy athletics competition. Be sure to stop by the beer carts on the first and third base sides of the concourse during the first inning for $2 Budweiser products as part of the Drive’s “Thirst Inning.”
The Drive will celebrate Mauldin Miracle League Night at Fluor Field on Saturday, May 19th. First pitch is at 7:05, and prior to the gates opening, the Mauldin Miracle League will hold two games on the field with players, coaches and staff members from the Drive and GreenJackets. The Mauldin Miracle League gives every child the opportunity to play baseball, no matter their disability, and these games will create lifetime memories for everyone involved. The Drive’s relationship with the Mauldin Miracle League has been ongoing for 12 years, and all of the players in Saturday’s games on the field will be wearing Drive and Red Sox jerseys, provided by the Drive. Throughout the night, the Drive will recognize players and staff members from the Mauldin Miracle League in pregame honorary positions and between-innings entertainment. Greenville Little League will be on hand throughout the day to assist with the Mauldin Miracle League and to cel ebrate the conclusion of their season. The “Thirst Inning” promotion also runs on Saturday night, so act quickly to get your $2 drink!
The homestand concludes with Girl Scouts Day on Sunday, May 20th at 4:05 PM. The Drive are excited to team up with the Girl Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands for another day celebrating Girl Scouts of the past, present, and future. Attending Girl Scouts will participate in a pre-game parade on the field as well as receive a commemorative event patch.
