Greenville County students who are new bus riders, have changed addresses over the summer or will be attending a new school need to fill out a transportation request form and submit it to their school by July 15. Requests received after this date will not begin to be routed until after Labor Day, which means parents will need to provide their child’s transportation to school until then. Magnet and special needs students should contact their school for transportation arrangements.

As a reminder, students entering kindergarten or first grade for the 2021-22 school year are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Parents may enroll their child online by setting up a Backpack account on the GCS website or by visiting their child’s assigned school and filling out a Student Enrollment Form and Home Language Survey. (Students currently enrolled in a GCS 4K or 5K program do not need to register.)
