What’s it like to get a coronavirus vaccine? The first person in the United States to try one opens up about her experience.
25-50% of people may see one or more of the following side effects but most appear to be short term. All three candidate vaccines reported mild or moderate side effects, mostly pain at the injection site, fatigue, and aching muscles and joints for a day or two.

Florian Krammer, a vaccinologist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, who participated in Pfizer’s trial said sore arms, fevers, and fatigue are “unpleasant but not dangerous,” he says. I’m not concerned about [side effects] at all.”

Dr. Fauci said the vaccine is safe and that it would be a tragedy if we have an effective vaccine for Covid-19 and people do not get it.
