FBI vetting troops over fears of insider attack: #WakeUpCLT To Go 1-18

The FBI is vetting some 25,000 National Guard troops coming to Washington DC ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration Wednesday. The strict vetting process comes as fears of an insider attack loom nationwide after the U.S. Capitol riots on Jan. 6. NBC’s Tracie Potts has details on the heavy security detail in the nation’s capital.

A company called StarMed is joining Mecklenburg County’s effort to vaccinate the general population. Starting Monday morning, StarMed will offer second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to seniors who received their first shot earlier this month as part of Phase 1b vaccinations. Richard DeVayne joins the program with how StarMed’s efforts will fall in line with the county’s overall vaccinations.
