Ranger Cathy Taylor will present a program at 1 p.m. called, ‘Winter Tree ID.’ Maybe you can’t tell the players without a program, but you can tell the trees without their leaves. Participants will learn to use other clues (without getting too advanced) to identify these very tall, majestic life forms in winter. After a short program inside, we will walk around outside to practice our skills. Meet at Park Center. The program costs $7, per person, payable at the welcome station or at Park Center, instead of admission. Registration is required. Limit 25.
