Start your summer with an extravaganza of concert music at the Upstate Concert Band Festival this Memorial Day weekend. Four concert bands representing three Upstate counties perform from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mauldin Cultural. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for traditional Americana, marches, show tunes, old favorites and new music from the Greenville Concert Band, the Spartanburg Community Band, the Easley Community Band, and the Greenville Textile Heritage Band. Food, drink and activities will be available; admission is free.

– When is the event?
The event is Saturday, May 25, from 3-7PM.
– How do I get there?
The Mauldin Cultural Center is at 101 E. Butler Road, Mauldin, SC, 29662.
– How much does it cost?
The concert is free for all ages to attend!
– Will there be food?
You can buy food and drink from vendors at the event. Outside food is not allowed, so please don’t bring a cooler.
– What should I bring?
Bring lawn chairs and/or a blanket to lay on the ample grass at the amphitheater. Depending on weather – maybe some sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, etc.
– What if there’s bad weather?
We don’t have a venue for inclement weather, so the event will be canceled. We will make that decision within 24 hours of the event – please check back here or at the event website before you come, if the weather looks questionable.
– Where can I park?
There is plenty of parking at the MCC, but if it fills up, we will arrange for overflow parking at the Mauldin United Methodist Church, across Butler Road from the MCC.
– Is the facility accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, there are accommodations for disabilities.
– Are dogs allowed?
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed at the outdoor amphitheater.
