Southerners tell the best stories. In fact, I would say we spin better yarns than anyone in the country. Inspired by The Moth and Spark London, “The Yarn” is an evening of true-life storytelling . . . starring YOU.
***
The theme for January 2018 is “JUSTICE.”
Come ready with a 5-7 minute story about the fight for fairness. A time you protested a cause. Stood up for someone in need. Stood up for yourself. A time justice failed you completely. Or, just maybe, you were the one getting the consequences you deserved.
We’ll put your name into the jar, and when it gets pulled, come on up to share your yarn! Or, if you prefer, just come to sit back and listen.
