Taylors Town Square Monthly Meeting

Happy NEW YEAR! And we are kicking off our FIRST Taylors Town Square Monthly Meeting in such an exciting way! We are thrilled to have speaker and author Joada Hiatt coming to talk with us on the Taylors/Greer overlap in history. After 27 years as manager, Joada Hiatt retired from the Greer Branch Library and took on the director's job at the Greer Heritage Museum. She moved the museum from a rented store front to its present location on S. Main St. where she set up the displays and created short documentaries on Greer history for museum showings. She now serves as the museum historian and program planner. Joada serves on the City of Greer Architectural Review Board and has co-authored 3 histories of Greer with Ray Belcher for Arcadia Publishing. She and her husband live in Greer. This will be a fantastic time of hearing from a historians perspective some history on Taylors/Greer area. We are also excited to have JUNTO as our coffee sponsor at the monthly meeting. Don't know what that is yet? Haven't tried a Junto cup of coffee? Be one of the first to find out at the monthly meeting!
