Spartanburg Fringe Arts Festival

Spartanburg Fringe Arts Festival is a new summer festival in Upstate South Carolina that celebrates the creativity of those usually considered to be on the "fringe" of polite society. Throughout the month, we will present dozens of shows, exhibits, and events in theatre, music, dance, comedy, spoken word, film, and progressive thinking. Headlining will be writer, director, producer Del Shores, the bad boy of Sordid Lives; Fun Home, a Tony-winning Broadway musical; House of Mann, mind-blowing and gender-bending fashions; and Rev. Jim Dant, a nationally recognized thought-leader in Christian acceptance of alternative lifestyles. There will also be an art exhibit and regional performing artists in theatre, music, and literature.
