For the October ArtWalk, we will feature Frankie Page, aka Frankie Zombie.
Born in New York City and raised in Spartanburg, SC Frankie Page (Alias Frankie Zombie), is a mixed media artist and music producer in Upstate South Carolina. Frankie has collaborated with musical artists such as Pharrell, Miley Cyrus and John Legend to name a few. The collectors of custom Frankie Zombie apparel pieces span from New York City to Atlanta, to London and his art has reached influencer such as Jon Wexler of Adidas, and Pusha T. His current color balance style was birthed after his mother was suddenly diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2016, prompting his return to Spartanburg. Frankie’s art focuses around positive energy, race relations, spirituality, and health. He prescribes to the notion that individual energy determines how the world changes.
January’s featured artist is Maggie Macdonald of The Kindred Spirits.
February Spartanburg Art Museum ArtWalk, Ciclops Cyderi & Brewery will be featuring artwork of bladesmith Aaron Troski of Noble Savage Forge, ceramics artist Nathan Goddard of NRG Studio and design work of Spear Point Screen Printing.
March Spartanburg Art Museum ArtWalk, Ciclops Cyderi & Brewery will be featuring artwork of Robin Davenport, fused glasswork of Camille Corn, and ceramics artist Rachel Child of Heirloom Pottery & Co.
For the April Spartanburg Art Museum ArtWalk, Ciclops Cyderi & Brewery will be featuring artwork of Christina Ramsey of Art of dahliallama, Kris Inman, and Scott Deskins.
May featured the Spartanburg Image Collective photographers for a special silent auction to raise funds and awareness for the Carolina Theater Restoration project.
June featured Renee Katherine Armstrong of Arting Things Up Photography.
In July we hosted the students of New Day with NAMI Spartanburg and Aly Lewis of Mill Haus Spangles.
August Artwalk hosted Katee Hargraves, Isabel Forbes, Addam Duncan, and Will Inman.
