Relay For Life of Greenville 2019

In May of 1985 colorectal surgeon, Dr. Gordy Klatt, wanted to raise money and awareness for cancer. For 24 hours he walked a track in Tacoma, Washington, raising over $27,000. He showed that one person really can make a difference. Since then, Relay For Life has become the largest fundraising event for cancer in the world. Celebrated by more than 4 million people in over 20 countries, this inspirational overnight event empowers and unites local communities to fight cancer. Relay For Life of Greenville is excited to announce that for this year’s theme we are taking it back to where it all began…… Relay in the 80s! Grab your scrunchies, slap bracelets, and Walkmans and show us your best 80s costume! This year’s Relay For Life will be on Saturday, May 18th 2018 from 4PM-11PM at Conestee Park.
