Ready Set Grow: Infant/Toddler and Me Yoga with Katy

Ready, Set, Grow is fun, healthy bonding experience for parents, guardians and caregivers and a baby or toddler they’d like to spend quality time with! Led by Katy Corbin, RYT200 and owner of Yogalicious Yoga Studio in downtown Spartanburg, this class provides adults the opportunity to strengthen, release stress and make new friends while breathing, cuddling and moving with their babies and young children. You and your younger half will play and practice yoga while you sing songs, explore movement, and connect with other parents and children. Adults can mindfully learn how to gain strength while cultivating confidence and alleviating neck, shoulder, and back pain through yoga postures. Know that it is natural for your baby to cry, so change a diaper or feed your baby anytime during class (Changing area will be provided) to make them comfortable. Come to class with an open heart, a blanket, some toys for your wee-one, your yoga mat and water. Don’t have a yoga mat? No problem. We will have mats available to borrow! These classes provide a comfortable, supportive environment where adults can meet other caregivers and create special memories with their children. Prior yoga experience is not needed to join this class. Please check with your doctor to receive permission before trying any new physical activity, especially mothers who have recently given birth Katy Corbin of YOGAlicious Yoga Studio will be teaching two sessions: 9AM: Infants (not able to crawl on their own) 10:15: Toddlers (able to crawl on their own)
