Queen Bee & The Honeylovers at Summer Tracks

Join us in Rogers Park Amphitheater in the Town of Tryon, North Carolina Friday September 6 at 7pm for a concert by Queen Bee and the Honeylovers. This joyful young swing jazz band from Asheville, NC performs original compositions guaranteed to put a grin on your face and a tap in your toes. They just completed 2 sold out cd release shows at Isis in Asheville, NC, and we're thrilled to have them close out the Summer Tracks season. Whitney Moore is the front Woman for the band and has written a new album, titled “Land of the Sky,” that showcases stores of Asheville’s past. These songs are told in Moore’s voice and backed by 1920s and 1930s big band and jazz sounds. queenbeeswing.com Bring a comfy chair, and cooler if you like. Summer Tracks is a "cooler friendly" event for sensible, of-age patrons, but we do NOT sell alcohol. You can certainly bring your own, but we encourage you to purchase your evening's beer/wine from The Tryon Bottle just down the street. (tryonbottle.com). Also, Katie D's NY Deli will have tasty food and desserts for sale on site. Both are wonderful and generous sponsors of Summer Tracks.
