Please join us this Saturday for a very special pop up on our patio in support of Greenville’s Cancer Survivors Park. Items will be on hand from authors and artists who have worked to commemorate this beautiful public project, and all of the proceeds from their items will go to support the park.

We’ll have Author Stephanie Morgan and illustrator Marquin Campbell’s book Sunshine For The Soul, which was made to honor the memory of Lindsey Motley, whose father Tom Bates is the president of board of the the Cancer Survivors Park Alliance.

We’re also excited to host local artist Yuri Tsuzuki’s picture book, Do Butterflies Dream? In these pages, the butterfly’s journey from darkness into light becomes a symbol of transformation, hope, growth, struggle, beauty and freedom.

Greenville artist Dorothy Shain’s silk scarves, created as a tribute to all those who have been touched by cancer, will be available too. Images from nature and the Cancer Survivors Park creatively symbolize the healing process— the blue heron’s adaptability to change, the lion’s strength and courage, the butterfly’s struggle to be open to a new life.
