SARAH KAIN GUTOWSKI is the author of Fabulous Beast: Poems (Texas Review Press), runner-up for the 2018 X.J. Kennedy Prize, winner of the 14th annual National Indie Excellence Award for Poetry, and a 2019 Foreword INDIES Finalist. She is also the author of a chapbook, Fabulous Beast: The Sow, published by Hyacinth Girl Press. She holds an MFA in poetry from New York University and a BA from James Madison University. Her poems have appeared in various print and online journals, including The Threepenny Review, So To Speak: A Feminist Journal of Language and Art, Painted Bride Quarterly, The Gettysburg Review, and The Southern Review. As a professor of English at Suffolk County Community College, she has co-chaired the annual SCCC Creative Writing Festival for over a decade. Refried Bean lives in New York City and enjoys writing poetry, cooking, and volunteering. Refried worked in a bookstore for twelve years and has an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Refried mostly writes humor about food, animals, heaven, Christianity, and mental illness and has e-published several books of poetry, a book of stories, a novel, and three picture books. Mariangela Mihai is a poet, sociocultural and visual anthropologist and an ethnographic filmmaker whose work builds on decolonial, feminist and sensory ethnographic methods to understand indigenous resistance. Learn more at https://www.mariangelamihai.com/
