Much Ado About Nothing

Snappy banter, sweet love ballads, and barn-burners - Scrappy Shakespeare's hip New Southern take on Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing will have you ripping up your jeans and busting out your Tom Waits vinyl. This year's show features over 10 original songs, our signature scrappy aesthetic and a flexible cast, meaning you (and the actors) don’t know who will be playing which character until the night of the performance. Much Ado is a play stuffed with love, trickery, danger, and buffoonery. In other words, perfect material for Scrappy Shakespeare’s high energy, irreverent style. And, as always, admission is FREE! LOCATIONS Every Friday & Saturday at the corner of Magnolia and Dunbar @ 7:30 PM (Except for Friday, June 28) Tour: June 6 - 7:30 PM - FR8yard June 8 - 3:00 PM - Growler Haus - Spartanburg June 9 - 7:30 PM - The War Mouth June 12 - 7:00 PM - Spartanburg Fringe Festival June 13 - 7:30 PM - Ciclops Cyderi & Brewery June 20 - 7:30 PM - Growler Haus Village of W Gvl June 23 - 7:30 PM - The Silo at RJ Rockers June 27 - 7:30 PM - Spartanburg Marriott June 30 - 7:30 PM - Wedge Brewery This program is funded in part by Chapman Cultural Center, its donors, the County and City of Spartanburg and the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of SC.
