Sally Handley, President of the Upstate South Carolina Chapter of Sisters in Crime shares her cozy mystery series, Holly and Ivy. Books available for purchase. Registration required. Email augustaroad@greenvillelibrary.org or call 277-0161 to register.

Sally’s talk will include a brief definition of the cozy mystery genre. She’ll tell us why the titles of her books include the word “bloom”, but not the word “murder” and discuss how gardening is an element of her mystery series. She’ll also provide an introduction to the main and recurring characters in her trilogy, reading a few selected passages from her books.
Retired after a career in teaching and marketing, Sally is now a resident of Mauldin, SC, where she devotes her time to writing cozy mysteries and gardening, and also writes a blog entitled On Writing, Reading and Retirement at www.sallyhandley.com.
