+ Teach your Dog to Catch a Frisbee
+ Improve your Throwing
+ Learn the Easy Game of Toss & Fetch
If you’ve always dreamed about playing frisbee with your dog (who hasn’t) and want to learn the basics of the amazingly simple sport of Disc Dog, now’s your chance. Grab your pup and come to a K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch clinic with Lucas Croft on Monday evening, July 27, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Address is a private residence on the corner of Sheila Ave and Highway 101. You may park wherever you like.
If your dog is high-drive and loves playing fetch, it’ll be catching frisbees in no time. If you’re worried about your frisbee throwing skills, or lack thereof, we’ll give you some coaching and proper techniques so you can start playing toss & fetch with your dog — they’ll love you even more for it.
Lucas will also provide hands-on instruction and techniques for experienced players to learn how to set your dog in motion, time your release, throw farther and straighter to help you and your dog play safely, become more successful and have more K9 fun.
Finally, you’ll learn the rules for playing K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch and everyone will get to play a couple of practice rounds on an official field with their dogs.
If you don’t have your own discs we’ll have plenty of practice frisbees on hand and new ones you can purchase. All you need to bring is:
— a dog(s) on a leash
— a long, 30′ line if your dog’s retrieve still needs work
— water for you and your dog
All this in about 2-3 hours for only $20 per person — it’s really that easy (and a lot of fun once you get into it).
Try to let us know in advance if you’re planning to attend by click “GOING”. Walk-ups are welcome.
