*SOLD OUT* Futurebirds at Radio Room wsg Darby & the peep show

Futurebirds’ “music is a patchwork amalgam of influences, including: twangy Southern rock (they've opened for the Drive-By Truckers), reverb-soaked psychedelia reminiscent of early My Morning Jacket or fellow Athens residents Phosphorescent, soaring guitar solos à la Neil Young and Crazy Horse, rhythmic jangle from that other Athens band, REM, multi-part vocal harmonies (which every band ought to have, dammit), and, weaving through it all, lyrical slide guitar.” (Vox) Some of you may remember when Futurebirds killed it at Fall For Greenville this year, but if you missed your chance, The Radio Room is stoked to announce the band will be returning to Greenville, specifically our stage, on Saturday, February 29th. That’s right! A leap year show! They only happen once every four years, so we figured we needed someone really badass to celebrate the occasion. The band themselves will be celebrating their new album, “Teamwork,” which releases January 15th! You can listen to their new single, “Crazy Boys,” wherever you stream music now! Tickets are $12 advance2, $15 day of the show
