Furman University Clarinet Ensemble at the Carolina Music Museum Free Concert! Wednesday, July 24, 12:00 PM In keeping with the museum’s pledge to offer a wide variety of musical experiences to all audiences we have something very special for you on Wednesday, July 24 at 12:00 PM: the incredible Furman University Clarinet Ensemble! That’s right, you can hear these 15 talented Furman University clarinet students before they head off to perform at the biggest clarinet conference in the world! They have been invited to perform at the prestigious International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest being held this year in Knoxville, TN, July 24-28! This year’s conference, entitled “Embracing the World”, will be presented in partnership with the University of Tennessee, and you get to them before they do! And, by attending FREE and making a donation—instead of buying a ticket—you do a wonderful thing: you make it possible for them to pay their way!
