Learning bird songs can be a lot like learning a foreign language. It is hard work for adults whose brains have stopped growing. For kids, however, learning the foreign language of birds can be easy and fun! This event is an opportunity for kids ages 6 to 12 to learn about birds. What is a bird? What purpose do their beaks have? How do they fly? What do they sound and look like? Using games, owl pellets, and binoculars, kids will learn some of the tools of the trade for birding and become more aware of the birds in our area.

Ages: ages 6-12
Cost: $10/child, $5/adult (only one adult per child please!)
Where: 601 Fork Shoals Rd.
When: December 1, 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Pre-registration is required and will close on Friday, November 30th at 5:00 pm. Minimum of 8 participants is required. No refunds unless we cancel the event.
