Longtime WYFF reporter Tim Waller who left the station in March to start his own public relations company, is an expert on the art of pitching stories and getting media outlets to bite. Waller often jokes that he spent 25 years deleting emails from PR firms that did nothing more than clutter his in-box. He knows the types of stories reporters like and don’t like. During his 25 years at WYFF-TV (NBC) in Greenville, South Carolina, Waller was named South Carolina Reporter of the Year four times by the Radio and Television News Directors Association (RTNDA). Tim left the station in 2019 to form his own public relations business. He is an expert in the field of media relations and is renowned for his crystal clear messaging and strategic communications.
