New South Comedy Festival
10 days. 10 workshops. 24 shows. 250 performers! From November 7-16th, improvisors, stand-up comedians, and sketch comedy guests from across the country will converge on Greenville, SC for the 6th Annual New South Comedy Festival.
Seating is limited, so it’s always wise to pre-purchase your tickets online. All shows will be at the Alchemy Comedy Theater in downtown Greenville, SC. Street parking is available (if you’re lucky), along with several nearby parking garages.
Comedy workshops will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on both weekends.
IMPROV COMEDY featuring Tribute (Greenville, SC), Reasonably Priced Babies (Asheville, NC), and Clementine (Atlanta, GA)
Tribute takes the music you love and uses it as inspiration for hilarious scenes depicting the real, the weird, and all the ways music provides the soundtrack to our lives. Cast includes: Alrinthea Carter, Joe Guy, Larry Simonson, Jeremiah Jones, Tyler Prescott, Teddi Fishman, Jeff Melton, and Rachael Hardin.
Reasonably Priced Babies (RPB) is formidable improv comedy group with 5 humans and 1 musician that starts fast and keeps you laughing. Drawing on over 120 years of combined improv experience from across the USA, Reasonably Priced Babies came together to push the envelope of ridiculous fun. Cast includes: Josh Batenhorst, Mondy Carter, Tom Chalmers, Kim Richardson, Karen Stobbe, and Aaron Price on keyboards.
