The driver of a Volkswagen died Monday after an early-morning crash on I-85 involving a tractor-trailer, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.The crash was reported about 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-85 at mile marker 88, about 4 miles south of Gaffney, Master Trooper Gary Miller.
