Driver charged with DUI in connection with deadly wreck on I-85

South Carolina Highway Patrol said a woman was charged with DUI in connection with a crash that killed a man. Belinda Prince has been charged with felony DUI resulting in death. The crash happened on May 22 on northbound Business-85 near the three mile-marker, 3 miles south of Spartanburg, according to Trooper Joe Hovis, with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.Coroner Rusty Clevenger said Dominique Alexander Lennon , 28, died at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.According to Hovis, Prince was driving a 2007 Jeep SUV heading south in the northbound lanes when she hit Lennon’s 2009 Hyundai head-on.Lennon was not wearing a seat belt and had to be mechanically extracted from the wreckage, Hovis said.
