Beginning of the Second Half at Fluor Field

The Greenville Drive completed a highly successful first half by winning the Southern Division first-half championship, clinching a South Atlantic League playoff berth in the process! The Drive boasted a 41-28 record in the first half, sent five representatives to Tuesday’s South Atlantic League All-Star Game, and boasted record-setting crowds as part of the beginning of the season, and we are looking forward to an even better second half, which begins on Thursday, June 22nd at Fluor Field! The Drive will welcome the Charleston RiverDogs, a New York Yankees affiliate, to Greenville in the continuation of the Battle of the Palmetto State Rivalry Series presented by Spinx.

The Drive will begin the homestand against Charleston on Thursday, June 22nd with Dollar Drink Night presented by The Iron Yard. First pitch on Thursday is at 7:05 PM, and the drink specials will begin at 6:00 when the gates open. The Iron Yard 500 Club is the place to be for fans 21 and older, who get to partake in young professional networking all evening long, while also enjoying $1 PBRs and a great environment to watch Drive baseball. $1 Pepsi products will be available for purchase at all Fluor Field concession stands for fans of all ages, and don’t forget to grab a Hot Tot, the Carolina Pride Hot Dog of the Month.
Don’t miss the return of the Hubbell Lighting “Light it Up” Fireworks following the game at Fluor Field on Friday, June 23rd. Throughout the game, the Drive will also be celebrating 80’s Night. Between innings, fans will get to take part and enjoy 80’s-themed games, and the music during the game and the fireworks show will include all of your favorite tunes from the 80’s.
The Drive will be placing a special loaded ticket on sale in the Champions Club presented by Hubbell Lighting for the games on Friday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th. Both games begin at 7:05 PM, and fans can enjoy the action between the Drive and Charleston RiverDogs from one of Fluor Field’s newest enhancements! An all-you-can-eat buffet will be available in the Champions Club from 6:00-7:30, and all of this is available for just $50! The menu for both nights will feature pulled pork, smoked beef brisket, baked beans, mashed potatoes, salads, dessert, sweet tea and lemonade. A cash bar with a specialty cocktail will be available as well. Only 125 tickets will be available each night with this special offer, so act quickly to get your loaded ticket.
On Sunday, June 25th, the Drive will host SYNNEX “Share the Magic,” an annual fundraising initiative created by SYNNEX Corporation that raises money for children who have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect.Since its inception in 2011, over $6.6 million has been raised to assist children and families in their times of need. Beneficiaries include Make-a-Wish of South Carolina, Clement’s Kindness, A Child’s Haven and Pendleton Place, all of which are working every day to provide a better life for children in the Upstate. A portion of each ticket sold for the game will be donated to the cause, so head to Fluor Field on June 25th to help a worthy cause. Following the game, stick around for BlueCross BlueShield Kids Run the Bases, as well as postgame yoga on the field!
