With a percent positive rate of 8.8, it appears that Covid-19 cases are on the rise in South Carolina. The star is averaging 578 new cases over the past seven days and Wednesday’s numbers exceeded the daily average by 136 cases. By contrast, DHEC reported just 302 cases on the same day in June, representing an increase of over 57%.
