An investigation is underway after a body was found on a burned bus in Greenville County.The Gantt Fire Department was called to Pine Creek Drive Tuesday just before 10 p.m. for reports of a bus fire, according to a report from the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.Firefighters called Greenville County deputies around 10:30 p.m. when they found the body.The bus was abandoned, “not operational” and in the parking lot of St. John United Methodist Church, according to the coroner.Greenville County Coroner Parks Evans said firefighters found the body of a Raymond Alan Decker, 42, of New York, inside the bus and pulled the body from the bus and attempted to resuscitate him.The cause of death was carbon monoxide intoxication, Evans said. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what led up to the death.
