About Phat Lip
Phat Lip is a Greenville-based Latin fusion band. Growing up in a constant flow of bilingual culture, Colombian American singer-songwriter Kelly Jo Ramirez – named “Best Female Vocalist” by The Greenville News in 2016 – started Phat Lip as a GarageBand pastime. Now, NPR proclaims the group as “a potent mix of soulful blues, Latin roots rhythm, and moody pop.”
