Clemson Covid-19 Dashboard

The data below are derived from multiple testing sources: Manual COVID-19 test results uploaded by students and university employees prior to campus return, mandatory return-to-campus testing for students and university employees, mandatory testing for on-campus students at dormitory move-in date*, symptomatic-based testing of students and university employees, along with testing of contacts, and surveillance-based testing of students and university employees.

Student Testing

As part of Clemson’s plan to promote a safe resumption of in-person instruction and on-campus operations, the University requires all students who plan to access main campus to receive a negative COVID-19 test and subsequent clearance from Redfern Health Center prior to accessing any facility, including classrooms, fitness centers, study space and athletics venues.

Surveillance Testing

  • All on-campus residents will test weekly, and off-campus residents will be randomly selected for mandatory testing.
  • If notified, students will need to sign up for a free test conducted by Rymedi.
  • Failure to comply with the University’s health and safety directives may constitute a violation of the Student Code of Conduct and may result in sanctions, which could include probation, suspension or expulsion.
  • Specific details including hours of operation, location and other instructions will be included in the notification email sent to clemson.edu
  • If a student who is selected needs to request an exemption, please contact covidsystemssupport@clemson.edu.
