Child flown to hospital after report of possible drowning at Upstate public swimming pool

Emergency officials responded Tuesday to a report of a possible drowning in Anderson County.Anderson County dispatchers said the report came in just before 4 p.m. about a boy possibly drowning at the Chicola pool, on Louisiana Street in Honea Path, which is part of Anderson County Recreation Department. Honea Path Fire Chief Jimmy Smith said the boy was found face-down in the pool.
