Carolina Panthers Training Camp Returns to Wofford College July 28th

The Carolina Panthers’ 2016 training camp presented by Lowe’s opens Thursday, July 28, with the Lowe’s Kickoff Party. The team will practice from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Gibbs Stadium on the campus of Wofford College, which will host training camp for the 22nd consecutive year.

The Lowe’s Kickoff Party starts at 4:30 p.m.; gates open at 4 p.m.

The Carolina Panthers 2015 training camp will run through August 20 at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. All training camp practices are free and open to the public with each practice session lasting about two hours. Please be aware that practice times and lengths are subject to change without notice. Directions to training camp

From Atlanta via I-85 North – Take I-85 North to exit 72 (I-585). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right toward Spartanburg. Cross over Business I-85. I-585 becomes Pine Street into Spartanburg. After crossing over Business I-85, turn right onto Twitty Street and into training camp at the second stoplight.

From Charlotte via I-85 South – Take I-85 South to exit 72 (I-585). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left toward Spartanburg. Cross over Business I-85. I-585 becomes Pine Street into Spartanburg. After crossing over Business I-85, turn right onto Twitty Street and into training camp at the second stoplight.

Parking at training camp

Wofford College – Free parking is available on campus adjacent to Gibbs Stadium via Cummings Street or Twitty Street. Other on campus parking can be found in lots off Osage Street and Pearl Street, including Calvary Baptist Church.

Downtown Shuttle Service – The Hub City Hopper provides fans roundtrip transportation between training camp and downtown Spartanburg with convenient dining and shopping. Running daily beginning one hour before practice and ending two hours after practice, the shuttle departs training camp from the Twitty Street traffic circle, adjacent to the main entrance to the practice fields, and leaves downtown from 100 Dunbar Street. Fans can park anywhere downtown and be picked up and dropped off at 100 Dunbar Street.

Joint Practices – Additional parking for the joint practices with the Miami Dolphins on August 19 and 20 is available at the Spartanburg Auditorium, located at 385 North Church Street. Shuttles will provide transportation to and from the main entrance to the practice fields.
