Armed, dangerous man wanted for Laurens County murder turns self in to deputies

(Above video was published on Saturday, Sept. 12)The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office said a man considered armed and dangerous and wanted for shooting and killing another man last week has turned himself in to deputies.Sheriff Don Reynolds has previously warned the public about Jason Dale Wentz, 38, of Fountain Inn, who is a suspect in the shooting death of Wilton Latravous Webb, 33.Deputies found Webb’s body about 9:45 p.m. Friday at a home on Garth Road, in Fountain Inn, officials said.Wentz will be charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, Reynolds said. Wentz is wanted in Pennsylvania in connection to an attempted murder, Reynolds said. No other information about the investigation was released.
