For the past ten years, the Indie Craft Parade has gathered each September to celebrate makers and handmade goods throughout the South, highlighting the craft of making things by hand, and encouraging the rise of small, local brands.
For 2020, that celebration will look a little different. To allow the Indie Craft Parade to continue their mission, they are announcing a hybrid event for 2020. Learn more at: http://www.makerscollective.org/indiecraftparade
The Makers Collective — 2020 Indie Craft Parade
The Makers Collective is a non-profit arts organization in Greenville, SC that empowers creative entrepreneurs while cultivating a supportive community around them. Our initiatives focus on makers in Greenville, SC, the South, and across the United States.
Changes for 2020
Instead of canceling the 2020 Indie Craft Parade, we decided to reimagine it by creating a new hybrid event – a combination of our annual festival and holiday pop up shop.
Our goal is to create an event that can generate income for independent artists while also being safe and enjoyable for our community. We are committed to our mission of empowering creative entrepreneurs and cultivating a supportive community around them.
Mini Markets
In conjunction with the shop, we will host a series of outdoor Mini Markets on November 7, 21, and December 5.
These will take place in the green space next to the shop, creating opportunities for the community to purchase directly from artists – a foundational component of Indie Craft Parade. Learn More
The Shop
This
temporary retail shop will feature the work of over 100 artists in the
same categories and mediums that are typically found at Indie Craft
Parade.
Instead
of a single shopping weekend, you will find quality handmade goods in
the shop and online each weekend for three months! Learn More
