Wheel Session Music Series Continues Tonight in the Village of West Greenville

The Wheel | 1288 Pendleton Street Greenville, SC

Admission $10

Tom and the band have taken to presenting thematic jazz concerts; of course they generally come from Tom’s creative and sometimes “whacky” mind. This fall we plan to do a Sacred Concert, nothing whacky about that. It should be quite beautiful. But for this show the theme is “America IS Great!” That’s right, we will celebrate our nationalism by deconstructing our Nation Anthem, premiering a new anthem for our current times, reworking some classic American gems, and possibly decomposing a number. The Cat and Mouse Ensemble is Tom Wright – saxophones, Philip Howe – trumpet and piano, Robert Nance – bass, and Kevin Korschgen – drums and cymbals.

The “Wheel Sessions” is a jazz performance series hosted at the Wheel, in Greenville South Carolina’s West Greenville Arts District. Performances begin at 7:30 pm, and are held in front of an intimate listening audience. There is a $10 entrance fee, which includes complimentary beverage and two sets of music; all proceeds go to the artists. Attendees may also BYOB. To reserve a seat, phone or text 312-520-2760
